We’ll be right in your space – your home, or office – to ensure that colours and lighting are accurate, and so you can best visualize the ideas and design solutions we work on together.

Design is personal – getting to know you, your taste, and your project needs is high on the priority list! I’ll be involved in every detail to ensure that all of our selections fit perfectly in your space.

At Decorating Den Interiors, I am all about incorporating your individual story into design. I’ll focus on blending existing furnishings with new pieces and products that work best for you.


I know every project has its own unique set of circumstances and challenges.  You want to know those things will be managed, and that we will be a good fit to work together!

During our first appointment, I take the time necessary to help establish the scope of your project and the style you desire. Don’t worry about the clock; our initial meeting is always complimentary.

Our first appointment usually lasts an hour to an hour-and-a-half. I love getting a tour of your home so I can best see how you live, what your design style is, and what those wish list items you have in your mind are! (We all have them, me included.).

We’ll spend some time discussing potential design options, what the completed look could be, and start considering products needed to bring our vision to life. This is one of my favourite parts of bringing Decorating Den Interiors to my clients: we have endless product options!


So, what does my process look like? What can you expect when you work with me?

No online shopping, no uncertainty – over 130 national, name-brand vendors, whose show rooms and factories I have toured. I’ll walk you through the process of selecting from thousands of samples of top quality home furnishings products: drapery, blinds, shades, furniture, bedding, lighting, accessories, artwork, floor covering and wall covering.

Before you get overwhelmed, don’t worry – it’s my job to narrow down those options for you, and bring them together to create a perfectly unique-to-you design plan. That’s part of our second appointment.

The second appointment is all about showing you your personalized design plan, getting excited about the transformation to come, and getting your approval on all items!  After that, it’s easy – leave it all to me and my team, until the exciting install and reveal day!


Changes to your home have a price tag – they take time and money! I get it. We’ll work together during that initial appointment to determine a budget that accomplishes your goals.

Even better, your investment focuses on the design plan and products, not an hourly fee from me, so project costs are known upfront. Imagine all the Saturdays you’ll save, not having to run around looking for what you need!
